Feld Motor Sports announced today that defending Super-Mini Champion Adam Cianciarulo, of Port Orange, Fla., will compete in this year’s Monster Energy Cup, a unique hybrid supercross / motocross at Las Vegas’ Sam Boyd Stadium on October 20.

As of press time, Cianciarulo, could not confirm whether he will defend his Super-Mini title or make the sequential move to the 250F motorcycle and race the Amateur All-Star Class. One way or another, Cianciarulo will be one of the 22 top amateur riders that will represent the next generation of racers as they compete on the world’s biggest stage with 3.5 hours of live television coverage. Consisting of two, five-lap Main Events, the Super-Mini Class is a proving ground for aspiring amateurs to showcase their talent on a world-class stage.

“I am not sure what my plans are for this year yet,” said Cianciarulo. “I will either be on a KX 250F or a Super Mini. I just started riding the Kawasaki KX250F … I am really comfortable on the 250 already. Either way it’s going to be fun, and I will be there.”
