Set in San Diego's Embarcadero Marina Park amidst the high-rise hotels, the San Diego Convention Center, clubs and restaurants was an event 2 years in the making. Looking past the boats and the yachts across the shimmering waterfront, as people walked along the boardwalk, was the "2012 Red Bull: New Years. No Limits." event featuring SnoCross star Levi LaVallee and Freestyle Motocross star Robbie Maddison, as they each attempted to set new world records for distance as they jumped over the San Diego Harbor at the same time. LaVallee broke his own world record by jumping a distance of 412' 6 ', while Maddison hit 378' 9", just shy of the world record of 391 feet.
