INbolnet - Nicky Hayden will be disappointed if they did not managed to finish in the top five at the Indianapolis MotoGP. Series held in the circuit nicknamed the Brickyard will be held this weekend.
The Ducati rider finishing in sixth position in the MotoGP Laguna Seca last July. But Hayden eager achieve better results in the second race in his hometown this.
"Racing at Laguna Seca fun, but Indy is more like home. This is because the state of Indiana is very close to Kentucky. Hopefully we can achieve a good outcome," Hayden said that it came from Kentucky, USA.
Hayden stated that he had a little trouble when racing at Laguna Seca. But he admitted the character of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway track very quickly. "There will be plenty of places for riders to open the gas wide open. Would be great to race in Indy with a 1000cc motorcycle," he continued.

Hayden, who has extended the contract one year with Ducati, is now ranked seventh in the drivers' standings with 84 points.
"Hopefully we can perform competitively since last free practice session. I certainly would feel disappointed if I can achieve the best result this season in Indy," he concluded.
