Troy Lee Designs announced the one-year signing of rising star Jessy Nelson to the Troy Lee Designs / Lucas Oil / Honda Amateur Race Team. Jessy raced in the Inaugural Monster Energy Cup as an Amateur All-Star where he placed 5th.
He placed third in 250A and third in 450A at Loretta Lynn's Amateur Nationals this year. For 2012, Jessy will race the Mini O's Winter Olympics (Florida), Mill Creek (Alabama), Oak Hill (Texas), Mammoth (California), World Minis (Nevada) and Loretta Lynn's (Tennessee) before making his pro debut.
