Motocross of Nations - Saturday (And ACTION!)

World Motocross Champion Tony Cairoli of Italy won the MX1 Qualifying Heat, Trey Canard of America won the MX2 Qualifying Heat, and Andrew Short of America won the Open class heat.

There is nothing quite like the Motocross of Nations. Photos, video, and words don't do it justice. It's a 'vibe' and 'electricity' that you must witness sometime in your life if you are a MX fan. It's a first class, top notch production in every way possible.

Heat race winners Andrew Short, Trey Canard, and Tony Cairoli

In MX1, Tony Cairoli won handily. Which should come as no surprise, since Tony is the 2010 World Champion of the premiere MX 1 Grand Prix motocross series. Ryan Dungey started around eighth, and moved up to fourth position by the end of the 20 minute plus two lap moto. Brett Metcalfe rode well to second in this race, for Australia.
